Drops of prayer

rain, prayer

Prayer may just be the most powerful tool mankind has.

-Ted Dekker

This week, we’d like to kick it off with a prayer for you.

Yes, for you.

You.

We know it may have been hard. The negativity may be too deafening. And you just need a comforting voice. So we wrote this poem especially for you.

Standing under the shelter this morning, I watch the skies so gloomy

I have waded some share of rain the past years, it hadn’t drowned me

Broken, but whatever doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger mentally

As I watch the veil of waters, I want you to know, soon it will be sunny

I wish I could do anything just to chase the dark clouds away for you

If only you were here… I’d give you a big hug and maybe some tissue

But I know there’s One with you right now, who comes to your rescue

He who loves you, and He who knows all that you are going through

He will see you to the other side, even if He had to again part the Red Sea

Through this storm, every little drop will be water to renew you graciously

Every little trickle is a glimmer closer to greeting the light in its full glory

As you bask in the rays of hope, take full throttle of your life – wild and free!

Have a blessed and an en(reach)ing week ahead!
